Driving Directions (from the A3: Portsmouth and London)

(We kindly ask that visitors avoid passing through the village of Hambledon if at all possible)

Exit A3 at 'Clanfield' (Southbound from London, Northbound from Portsmouth) following signs for Clanfield. After 1 mile follow road past 'The Rising Sun' Public house, then take the next Right towards Hambledon. After 3 miles continue past the 'Bat and Ball' public house. Continue for a further 2 miles to Hambledon. Please continue past the signs for 'Hambledon Vineyard', instead taking the next Right down East Street (single winding track with stone walls down each side), and continue slowly and cautiously up past the residential homes, following the road round to the left (caution for vehicles approaching) then all the way up to the final Cottage on the Left - Mill Down Cottage.

​By Car from the Winchester/ M3/ A34:

From A34/M3 from the North: at M3 Junction 9 take A272 South. Use the Right Hand Lane over 2 roundabouts following signs to Winchester South. Turn Left down Morestead Road towards Morestead.

From M3 from South: at M3 Junction 10, take A31, bearing right at 1^st roundabout and taking U turn at second roundabout in order to turn left onto Morestead Road, signposted to Morestead.

At Morestead, keep left on Belmore Lane and continue to Corhampton. Turn right onto A32 Warnford road at the mini-roundabout. Turn left for Brockbridge onto B2150. After 2½ miles, turn left onto Brook Lane and then right at T Junction. Follow brown signs to Hambledon Vineyard. On East street, turn left following the single single winding track with stone walls down either side, and continue slowly and cautiously up past the residential homes, following the road round to the left (caution for vehicles approaching) then all the way up to the final Cottage on the Left - Mill Down Cottage.

By train or plane:

The nearest train station is Petersfield station (1 hour from London Waterloo). Taxis from Petersfield station to Mill Down Cottage take approximately 15 minutes.
The nearest airports are Southampton (30 minutes by car), London Heathrow (1hr 15 mins) or London Gatwick (1 hr, 30 mins).
